Moseley Golf Club
The Ladies Section at Moseley is a small, friendly and inclusive group of women.
We are keen to expand and welcome new members, both experienced golfers and those wishing to develop and improve their game. You will find that we are a diverse group with a range of backgrounds, life experience, and golf history who share a common interest in golf and appreciate the friendship and sociability it provides.
We have a range of handicaps, but the handicap system allows everyone to participate on an equal footing. If you don't have a handicap, we can help you get one.
The Ladies have protected tee times on Tuesday mornings, when there is a cycle of Stableford, Medal and Eclectic competitions in addition to some fun/friendly events. There is also an opportunity to play a ladies Stableford on Sunday, a members' Stableford on Thursday and a ladies roll up on Friday morning. There is ample opportunity for social golf at other times.
We have two Open competitions and other special events such as Lady Captain’s away day.
There are Ladies team and Mixed team fixtures against other local clubs played over the summer. For lower handicappers there is also the opportunity to play in County competitions.
We would be delighted to show you around the course and clubhouse, so please get in touch if you would like to find out more.
The R&A launched the Women in Golf Charter in May 2018, supported by England Golf, to encourage more women and girls to play golf and join clubs. In May 2021 Moseley signed up to the charter and we have made commitments to enable us to introduce the game to more women and girls and to grow our female membership.
If you are interested in Ladies Membership, please contact the Lady Captain for further information.
